Pablo Escobar was a Colombian drug lord and the leader of the Medellín Cartel, one of the most powerful drug-trafficking organizations in the world. He was responsible for smuggling immense quantities of cocaine into the United States and was involved in various criminal activities, including violence, corruption, and terrorism. His reign came to an end when he was killed by Colombian authorities in 1993.
