Timothy McVeigh was an American domestic terrorist responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, which killed 168 people and injured hundreds. He detonated a truck bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history at the time.
