Also known as Osho, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh was an Indian spiritual guru who gained notoriety for establishing a commune called Rajneeshpuram in Oregon, USA, during the 1980s. He and his followers faced legal issues, including immigration fraud and wiretapping, as they attempted to take control of local government. Rajneesh was later deported from the United States.
